Is your vibrator in lock mode?
If you turn on your vibrator, see flashing green lights, feel three quick vibrations, and then nothing else, congrats! Your vibe is not broken, it is merely in lock mode. Go into your sync page, turn off the "Lock Mode" setting, and be sure to sync you vibrator after.
Are you trying to use the vibrator while it's synced to your phone?
Don't! The vibrator is designed to be used like a normal vibrator, not connected to the phone at all while in use. In fact, your vibrator will not vibrate when it is connected, and that is by design.
You connect your vibrator to your phone's Bluetooth when you are finished using your vibrator and want to upload your sessions. Find more info here.
Do you see two solid red lights?
If your vibrator has two solid red lights and no vibration, you need to upload the latest firmware to your vibrator. You can find instructions to fix this here.
Considering doing a hard reset of the vibrator?
Read this first.
Android has recently (as of late-April) changed something in their permissions that causes difficulty syncing. If you are having difficulties you can check and see if this applies to you:
Look at Settings (gear icon) > Game and see what the button says.
If it says scanning, close and open the app again and check what it says. It should say “Sync to Play.” If not, and it says LOCATION_SERVICES, the app needs location permissions to use Bluetooth.
We don’t actually track your location, it’s how Google groups permissions.
We’re pushing a new update soon to resolve this, but it seems like something got changed in Android’s permissions or reset and we’re seeing this issue crop up all of a sudden.
None of the above apply to you?
Shoot us an email at email@example.com. We'll do our best to get to the bottom of your issue!
